Our Equipment

We have two Type III Engines, one Type VI Engine and one Type II Dozer that meet or exceed Region 5 standards.  All of our Engines and equipment is inspected a minimum of once a year.  Our two Type III Engines operate under contract with the Shasta Trinity National Forest through the U.S.F.S. and are stationed in Redding, California.  Our Type VI Engine operates in region 6 and is stationed out of Merrill, Oregon.  Each Type III Engine has a staffing requirement of 2-4 Firefighters and one Engine Boss.  Our Type VI has is staffed of 1-3 Firefighters and one Engine Boss.  We also have a Type II Dozer and Semi with low-boy trailer.  Our dozer is used for fire line construction and can operate in any Region.  All of our equipment is either new or like new in condition.   Here at IAR we take pride in the condition and appearance of our equipment.   We feel it reflects the our level of commitment to duty.
